Exploration & Curiosity (Parents)
At College Path Studio, we believe every journey starts with curiosity. The Exploration & Curiosity category is designed for families in the “Early Pathfinder” stages (Grades 6–8) and early high school, where the goal is discovery without the weight of high-stakes decisions. We want to help parents encourage their children to notice their strengths and passions long before an application is even in sight.
This category provides guidance on how to support your child’s interests—whether through hobbies, clubs, or simple reflection—without influencing their choices or adding pressure. By fostering a “growth mindset” and celebrating progress over perfection, you can help your teen build the confidence to explore their own identity. From interest mapping to career curiosity, this section helps you turn the “what do you want to be?” question into a low-pressure exploration of “what do you enjoy right now?”.
