Exploration & Curiosity (Students)
In the rush to get to the finish line, many students forget to look around. The Exploration & Curiosity archive is the “creative laboratory” of College Path Studio. This tag is for the dreamers, the tinkerers, and the students who aren’t quite sure what they want to be yet—and are totally okay with that.
The most impressive college applicants aren’t the ones who followed a pre-set path; they’re the ones who followed a thread of curiosity until it turned into a passion. Here, we encourage you to ask “What if?” We talk about how to use your summers to explore niche interests, how to start a “passion project” that actually solves a problem in your community, and how to use elective classes to test-drive potential majors.
We dive into:
– Curiosity Audits: How to figure out what actually interests you when you’re not being told what to study.
– Micro-Internships: Small ways to get real-world experience.
– Interdisciplinary Thinking: Why a coder who loves poetry (or a biologist who loves jazz) is a force to be reckoned with.
Exploration is the antidote to “burnout.” When you’re fueled by genuine curiosity, the work doesn’t feel like a chore—it feels like a discovery. This archive is your permission slip to be a “polymath” and to build a life that is as interesting as it is successful.
