About

Expert college guidance, built for families to run
College Path Studio gives you a counselor’s framework for every stage of the path — Plan, Research, Apply, Decide, Pay — without the counselor’s price tag. We provide the expertise; your family provides the effort.
Why we exist
College planning has become expensive and opaque. A private counselor runs $3,000 to $15,000, so most families either pay it or go without a real plan at all. We built College Path Studio for a third option: the same frameworks a good counselor uses, packaged so your family can run them yourselves. No gatekeeping, no guesswork — a clear system you own.
How we approach the work
Four principles shape everything we build:
- Guidance, not hand-holding: Every resource ends with a specific next step — never a vague “explore your options.”
- Credibility you can lean on: Our materials are built by people who have sat on the other side of the admissions desk.
- Access without gatekeeping: We package our system as Professional Toolkits — free to start, premium when you want the full build — so cost never blocks a family from a plan.
- Clarity over complexity: We turn a confusing, multi-year process into simple, sequenced steps.
Who’s behind it
College Path Studio is built by educators, former college-admission representatives, and application readers — people who understand both sides of the process, the academic and the personal. That’s the point of the whole model: the expertise is ours, so the plan can be yours.
